Cairn India shot into the lead on the NSE on Thursday morning. At 10.49 am the share was trading at Rs 138.70 against Rs 129.75 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 6.90 per cent.
HDFC gained 6.05 per cent at Rs 1,169 against Rs 1,102.35 at close overnight.
Vedanta was on a firm wicket, trading at Rs 90.65. This represented a gain of 5.96 per cent on its previous close at Rs 85.55.
Tech Mahindra gained 3.78 per cent to quote at Rs 526.50 against Rs 507.30 at close on Wednesday.
Lupin perked up 3.60 per cent at Rs 1,875.50 against Rs 1,180.40 at close previously.
