The board of Hikal on Wednesday recommended an issue of bonus shares (through capitalisation of its reserves) in the ratio of 1:2 (one bonus equity share for every two existing equity shares). The record date will be fixed later, the pharmaceutical company added. Shares of Hikal closed flat at ₹254.25 on the BSE.
