HIL has commenced commercial production of SWR (soil, waste & rain) pipes and pressure pipes at its Faridabad plant. SWR pipes and pressure pipes - a new addition to the company’s pipes & fittings business - is marketed under the brand ‘Birla Aerocon’. This augmentation of the portfolio will further strengthen HIL’s relationships with the trade channel, plumbers, influencers and builders/developers, the company said in a statement to the exchanges. Shares of HIL gained 1.5 per cent at ₹1,736.55 on the NSE.
