HIL , a CK Birla group company, has commenced commercial production of SWR (soil, water & rain) pipes, pressure pipes and SWR fittings under the brand name - Birla Aerocon at the Golan (Gujarat) plant. The installed capacity is 2,160 tpa for SWR pipes and pressure pipes and 900 tpa for SWR fittings. Shares of HIL slipped 1.15 per cent at ₹1,997.60 on the BSE.
