Infrastructure major Hindustan Construction Company in joint venture with VCCL has won a ₹367.72-crore order for construction of a safety tunnel in Manipur. The contract has been awarded by the Northeast Frontier Railway to construct a safety tunnel between Tupul and Imphal in Manipur, HCC said in an exchange filing. This is the fifth order received from the Northeast Frontier Railway on the new railway line being constructed between Jiribam and Imphal. Shares of HCC climbed 5.32 per cent at ₹35.60 on the NSE.
