HSIL has informed the exchanges that fire broke out in one portion of its Kaharani unit at Alwar, Rajasthan, on November 12. The fire has been controlled, the company said in the statement, and added that based on initial assessment the management does not expect the operations of the unit to be materially impacted by the fire. The Kaharani unit is engaged in manufacturing of faucets. After a year high of ₹495, the stock closed at ₹465.90, down 2.55 per cent, over the previous day’s close.
