A host of companies turn ex-dividend on Friday. These include Navine Fluorine International (₹8.50), Hindustan Unilever (₹9), Birla Corporation (₹6), Adi Finechem (₹2.50), Essel Propack (₹1.6), Bank of Maharashtra (₹0.80) and Punjab & Sind Bank (₹0.60). From Friday, the share prices of these companies will reflect the dividend payout. Also, those buying the shares of these firms will not be eligible to receive the dividend payout.
