Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese has informed the exchanges that due to weak market conditions, it has suspended its smelting operations for about a month. Subsequently, a layoff for all workmen has been declared. It is expected that normal operations should resume in May. Shares of Indsil Hydro closed at ₹39 on the BSE, down 0.89 per cent over the previous day’s close.
