Info Edge (India) Ltd , which owns the jobs website naukri.com, has informed the BSE of the changes effected in its Board of Directors and which were taken on record by the Board at its meeting held on October 16, 2014. Accordingly, Sharad Malik has been appointed Additional Director under the category of Non-executive Independent Director with effect from October 16; Chintan Thakkar, Chief Financial Officer has been appointed, Additional Director to be designated CFO & Whole Time Director, with effect from October 16; and Ashish Gupta, a Non-executive Independent Director has resigned from the Board of the company with effect from October 16. He will however, continue to work with the company in an advisory role. All the appointments are subject to shareholder approval at the company’s next annual general meeting.
