IOC shares fall after gaining nearly 1% intraday

Shares of state-owned Indian Oil Corporation jumped nearly 1 per cent intraday as the company has announced the launch of nation’s first electric vehicle charging station at a petrol pump in Nagpur.

However, the shares retreated and closed the session down by 0.09 per cent at Rs 395.65.

Following a strong open at Rs 398 against the previous close of Rs 396, the scrip touched an intraday high of Rs 399.10 and a low of Rs 392. In terms of equity volume, 7.61 lakh shares exchanged hands on the BSE.

IOC, in collaboration with Ola, has launched the country’s first electric charging station at one of its petrol-diesel stations in Nagpur, a company statement said.

Nagpur, being the first city to introduce Electric Public Transportation Model in India, has added one more feather to its cap by adding the first electric charging station at IOC’s petrol pump in Nagpur.
