IT and pharma shares were the top gainers on the bourses on Friday morning. At 11.35 am HCL Technologies led the charge on the NSE, trading at Rs 951 as against Rs 926.10 at close on Thursday. This represented a gain of 2.69 per cent.
Infosys advanced 1.66 per cent to trade at Rs 1,006.85. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 990.45.
Dr Reddy’s Labs rallied 1.39 per cent to trade at Rs 3,534 as against Rs 3,485.45 in the previous session.
Cipla perked up 1.21 per cent to quote at Rs 618.15 as against Rs 610.75 at close overnight.
Wipro gained 1.08 per cent to trade at Rs 558.10 as against Rs 552.15 at close yesterday.
