IT stocks Infosys and TCS held firm in morning trade on the NSE, extending their recent strong run on the bourses. IT stocks in general traded on a firm note last Friday following the robust Q3 numbers reported by Infosys.
At 11.05 a.m. Infosys was trading at Rs 3,669, up 3.32 per cent on its previous close of Rs 3,551.25.
Tata Motors sped up 2.68 per cent to quote at Rs 376.85 as against Rs 367 at close last Friday.
Holding on to its firm undertone, TCS was trading at Rs 2,335.65, a gain of 2.40 per cent on its previous close of Rs 2,280.90.
ONGC held gains of 2.34 per cent to quote at Rs 290.70 as against Rs 284.05 at close last week.
HCL Technologies was trading up 2.04 per cent at Rs 1,324.70 as against Rs 1,298.20 at close on Friday.
