Jain Irrigation Systems has bagged a ₹375-crore worth turnkey contract from Pune Municipal Corporation. The contract involves evaluation and analysis of the present water supply system, design validation and revamp of water supply system including water audit, SCADA, non-revenue water reduction, bill generation, operation and maintenance of the system. The company has to provide solutions to convert the present water system into 24x7 equitable constant-pressure distribution system for the city. This project involves a pipeline of 508 km, installation of 49,000 water meters and laying of 1,339 km utility ducts apart from water pipeline. Shares of Jain Irrigation Systems closed at ₹112.75, down 3.05 per cent on the NSE.
