The board of Kaveri Seed Company will meet on Thursday to consider the audited financial results for the quarter/year ended March 31, 2018. The board will also consider a proposal for buyback of the equity shares of the company. If the proposal is approved by the board, shareholders would be keen to know the price, issue size and mode of buyback (whether open market purchase or through tender route). Last year, the company had bought back over 29.62 lakh shares at ₹675 a share.
