Shares of Lakshmi Vilas Bank rose as much as 1.1 per cent on Monday.
At about 10.25 am, the stock was up 0.49 per cent or Rs 0.70 at Rs 142.50 on the BSE.
Over the weekend, the bank closed a share sale to institutions, raising Rs 168 crore ($25 million).
Lakshmi Vilas Bank has issued about 12 million shares at Rs 140 a share, a discount of nearly 1 per cent to Friday's close.
Centrum Capital managed the sale for Lakshmi Vilas.
