Larsen & Toubro rallied further to emerge the top gainer on the BSE near the close on Friday. At 3.14 pm the share was trading at Rs 1,603.05, up 2.73 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,560.50.
State Bank of India was up 1.73 per cent at Rs 253.25. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 248.95.
ONGC flared up 1.65 per cent at Rs 264.55 against Rs 260.25 at close yesterday.
Maruti Suzuki edged up further to hold gains of 1.58 per cent at Rs 4,449.10 against Rs 4,379.85 at close last evening.
HDFC Bank traded up 1.42 per cent at Rs 1,099.90 against Rs 1,084.50 at close on Thursday.
