L&T Finance Holdings has raised about ₹2,000 crore from its promoter Larsen & Toubro through preferential allotment. The company has completed the allotment of 10.78 crore shares to L&T at ₹185.51 a share, L&T Finance Holdings said in a release to the stock exchanges. The capital infused by the promoter will help fund the growth of its focussed lending businesses: rural finance, housing finance and wholesale finance, and will further strengthen its capital adequacy. Shares of L&T Finance Holdings gained 0.67 per cent at ₹158.75 on the BSE.
