Man Industries (India) has said that the first phase of commercial production at its plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, began from December 9. The company had recently upgraded the HSAW PIPE making facility at Pithampur to manufacture 135" dia pipes to cater to the water transport segment. The company had recently bagged an order for about ₹250 crore for supply of these pipes in MP. The full impact of the Pithampur plant's contribution will start reflecting from the fourth quarter of the current financial year. The stock gained 2.74 per cent at ₹91.90 on the BSE.
