Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has informed the regulators that in a board meeting on March 15 the agenda concerning the report of the consultant regarding formation of a non-banking finance company was deferred.

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd's board of directors on March 15 decided upon undertaking a detailed analysis of restructuring of the shipping business of the company and the viable methods in which such restructuring can be implemented with assistance from independent external consultants. The board has constituted a committee of the board of directors to look into the issue.

GKW Ltd has re-commenced production of screws and fasteners at its Pune unit.

Oudh Sugar Mills Ltd has said that the proposal for restructuring its debts under CDR mechanism has been approved by the CDR Empowered Group at its meeting on February 9 and it has received the Letter of Approval from the CDR EG. A meeting of the Board of Directors on March 28 will consider the proposal.

The empowered Committee of Directors (constituted by the Board of Directors of Siemens Ltd ) for the purpose of issue and allotment of shares consequent upon the amalgamation of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Ltd, Baroda, with itself has fixed March 23 as the record date for determining shareholders of Siemens Healthcare eligible to receive shares of Siemens Ltd.

Whirlpool of India Ltd has said that there is no information or announcement it has to share with investors that could have any bearing on the price or volume behaviour.
