Metal shares Hindalco Industries and Vedanta were among the top gainers on the BSE on Tuesday. At 10.14 am Hindalco was the top gainer on the bourse, trading at Rs 83.25, up 2.84 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 80.95.
Vedanta rode up 2.43 per cent to trade at Rs 99.25 against Rs 96.90 at close yesterday.
NTPC steamed up 1.51 per cent at Rs 134.80 against Rs 132.80 at close on Monday.
M&M rode up 1.06 per cent at Rs 1,222 against Rs 1,209.15 at close previously.
Sun Pharma Industries rose 1.03 per cent at Rs 874.40 against Rs 865.50 at close previously.
