Asian shares were ruling in a mixed range on Thursday. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 22.08 points or 0.23 per cent to 9,686.71. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 22.68 points or 0.1 per cent at 23,474.11. Singapore’s Straits Times was down 0.25 points or 0.01 per cent at 3,095.07. South Korea’s Kospi was up 3.97 points or 0.19 per cent at 2,095.35.
Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 gained 17.1 points or 0.35 per cent to 4,839.30. China’s Shanghai Composite fell 28.62 points or 0.97 per cent to 2,927.15. Taiwan’s Taiex shed 23.15 points or 0.27 per cent to 8,623.16.
