Shares of MMTC Ltd fell 3.3 per cent to Rs 32.2, their biggest percentage loss since July 16.
The company had on Tuesday reported 45.17 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 9.94 crore in the quarter ended June 2018 against Rs 18.13 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2017.
Sales declined 19.49 per cent to Rs 5,088.05 crore in the quarter ended June 2018 against Rs 6,320.08 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2017.
MMTC stock had fallen nearly 32 per cent this year as of last close.
