Nutraplus Products India Ltd has informed the exchanges that it expects to commence production at a plant that was gutted in fire in August 2014 in 90 days after taking plant completion certificate. The plant was situated at Tarapur, Thane, Maharashtra. The company added construction of a new plant (Unit IV) is as per schedule and likely to be completed before September 2015. The plant will manufacture high-end pharma products in anti-infective and analgesic therapeutic category. The plant has capacity of 1,200 tonnes a year. The stock of Nutraplus jumped 10 per cent to ₹151.90 on the BSE.
