The board of directors of Panasonic Appliances India Company on Tuesday approved the draft Postal Ballot Notice seeking shareholders’ nod for the proposed voluntary delisting of its equity shares from the stock exchanges. The board has appointed Rabi Narayan Pal, Practicing Company Secretary, as Scrutiniser for the Postal Ballot voting process, including e-voting. The Board has also decided to fix October 28 as the record/cut-off date for ascertaining the members entitled to exercise their vote through e-voting/postal ballot. Shares of Panasonic jumped 5 per cent at ₹247.10.
