Pharma stocks were the predominant gainers on the NSE on Wednesday. At 3 p.m. Ranbaxy Laboratories was trading at Rs 363.50, little changed from its morning levels. This represented a gain of 3.56 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 351.
Sun Pharma Industries was quoting at Rs 624, a gain of 2.34 per cent on its overnight close of Rs 609.75.
Lupin perked up to trade at Rs 939.65, a gain of 1.83 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 922.75.
Infosys made further ground ahead of the close to trade at Rs 3,743.50, up 1.67 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 3,682.
Larsen & Toubro was quoting at Rs 1,030.45, up 1.28 per cent on its overnight close of Rs 1,017.40.
