The stock of SpiceJet climbed 4.75 per cent on the BSE at Rs 22.05 on the BSE after its promoter, Mr Kalanithi Maran, infused funds in the company
According to a statement in the BSE, the company said the allotment committee of the board allotted 3.59 crore equity shares at Rs 36.48 a share on preferential allotment basis to Mr Kalanithi Maran.
Trading volume jumped to 28.99 lakh shares against its two-week average of 22.75 lakh shares.
