Reliance Industries jumped up 2 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE by the close on Thursday. At 3.25 pm the share was trading at Rs 913.70 as against Rs 895.90 at close on Wednesday.
Wipro moved up further to hold gains of 1.75 per cent at Rs 555.05 as against Rs 545.50 at close overnight.
HDFC traded up 1.13 per cent to quote at Rs 1,217.10 as against its overnight close at Rs 1,203.50.
HDFC Bank was trading at Rs 1,015 as against Rs 1,004.60 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 1.04 per cent.
Axis Bank held steady to keep gains of 1.01 per cent at Rs 556.2 as against Rs 550.65 at close last evening.
