Counting for Lok Sabha elections will start by 8 am on Thursday and by the time the market open at 9.30, there would be a clear trend who is leading. If the current dispensation (NDA) is leading, then the market might see a gap up opening. However, signals of hung parliament could trigger a big sell-off. But, It is unlikely that final results will be known before the market closes. Shares will swing wildly that would be captured by Nifty and Sensex and other mid/small-cap indices.
