Sesa Sterlite maintained its firm undertone to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE in late trading. At 2.25 pm it had extended its gains to 5.5 per cent at Rs 209.10. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 198.20.
Bharti Airtel dialled up gains of 3.49 per cent at Rs 372.10 as against Rs 359.55 at close on Monday.
Reliance Industries also made further gains to trade at Rs 934.35. This was a gain of 2.91 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 907.90.
Tata Motors made further ground to notch up gains of 2.90 per cent at Rs 609.50. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 592.30.
ONGC held firm to build gains of 2.77 per cent at Rs 359.70. It had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 350.
