Shilpa Medicare on Thursday informed the exchanges that it will acquire 5.2 per cent stake (7.41 lakh shares) of Prathijna Sustainable Solutions for about ₹103.74 crore. The acquisition is likely to be completed within a month, the statement added. The objective of the acquisition is for captive power generation, it said, and added that the deal will not fall under related-party transaction. Shares of Shilpa Medicare closed at ₹374, down 1.36 per cent on the BSE.
