Siddharth Education Services, which raised ₹10 crore through an initial public offering on the BSE SME platform, hit the upper circuit on Thursday, its debut day. The company issued 31.08 lakh equity shares of ₹10 each at a price of ₹35 each. Opening on a bullish note at ₹36.9 a share, there were only buyers in the counter and the shares soon hit the 20 per cent upper circuit at ₹42. Vinay Bhagwat, Chairman, Siddharth Education Services, said the company intends to grow inorganically to venture into HR training, IT platform creation and marketing. He also stressed on entry into skill development being a huge unexplored sector.
