Sun Pharma extends gains above 2% on BSE

Sun Pharma Industries extended its morning gains on the BSE ahead of the close on Wednesday. At 2.45 p.m. it was trading at Rs 624.15, up 2.49 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 609.

Infosys was trading at Rs 3,744.95 as against Rs 3,680 at close on Tuesday. This represented a gain of 1.76 per cent.

GAIL (India) edged up further during the course of the day to trade at Rs 361.20, up 1.13 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 357.15.

Larsen & Toubro built up gains of 0.85 per cent during the session to quote at Rs 1,027 as against Rs 1,018.35 at close on Tuesday.

BHEL steamed up 0.80 per cent to trade at Rs 150.90. The stock closed the previous session at Rs 149.70.
