Sun Pharma was on the ascendant in the morning session on Tuesday. At 11.10 am the share was the top gainer on the NSE, trading at Rs 835.80. This was a gain of 2.73 per cent on its previous close at Rs 813.55.
M&M was also on a firm footing. The share was trading at Rs 1,220.55, up 2.31 per cent on last week’s close at Rs 1,192.95.
HCL Technologies traded up 2.30 per cent to quote at Rs 917. The share ended Friday’s session at Rs 896.35.
Cairn India gained 2.21 per cent to trade at Rs 184.75 as against Rs 180.75 at close last week.
Larsen & Toubro built gains of 1.96 per cent at Rs 1,690 as against Rs 1,657.45 at close previously.
