Sun Pharma Industries spurted 2.09 per cent to lead the pack on the BSE on Monday morning. At 10.10 am the share was trading at Rs 935.05 as against Rs 915.95 at close on Friday.
Hindalco Industries also gained 2.07 per cent at Rs 142.70. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 139.80.
Wipro was trading at Rs 617.95. This represented a gain of 1.92 per cent on its previous close at Rs 606.30.
Larsen & Toubro rode up 1.36 per cent to trade at Rs 1,723.20. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 1,700.10.
Cipla gained 1.03 per cent to trade at Rs 703.20. The share had closed the previous week at Rs 696.05.
In the broader market the BSE Sensex and the Nifty fell on profit-booking sales, While the Sensex was down nearly 100 points at just below the 29,100-mark, the Nifty shed 25 points to hover below the 8,800-mark.
