TCS extended its morning rally to emerge the top gainer on the BSE at the close on Friday. At 3.30 p.m. the share had notched up gains of 1.81 per cent to quote at Rs 2,598. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 2,551.75.
Bajaj Auto rode up 1.62 per cent to trade at Rs 2,546.85. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 2,506.25.
NTPC flared up 1.51 per cent to quote at Rs 137.60 against Rs 135.55 at close overnight.
Cipla held steady to keep gains of 1.46 per cent at Rs 619.8 as against Rs 610.90 at close yesterday.
Infosys trimmed part of its early gains to quote at Rs 1,005.5 as against Rs 991.15 at close on Thursday. This was a gain of 1.45 per cent.
