Techno Electric & Engineering Co has fixed March 3 as record date for the proposed buyback. It plans to buy back 15 lakh shares on proportionate basis through the tender offer route. Techno Electric has fixed the buyback price at ₹400 a share and for an amount not exceeding ₹60 crore (representing 8.30 per cent of its paid-up capital and free reserves as on March 31, 2016). Interested investors will have to buy the shares by Wednesday, as they turn ex-date on Thursday.
