The Vedanta scrip spiked up 2.01 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE on Friday morning. At 10.50 am it was quoting at Rs 141.80 against Rs 139 at close on Thursday.
Coal India advanced 1.29 per cent to trade at Rs 422.45 against Rs 417.05 at close yesterday.
Sun Pharma Industries rose 1.23 per cent to quote at Rs 883.05 against Rs 872.30 at close overnight.
Tata Motors rode up 1.14 per cent at Rs 402.70. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 398.15.
ICICI Bank gained 1.04 per cent to trade at Rs 312.35. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 309.15.
