Videocon Industries will sell its home appliances business Kenstar to Everstone Group. The duo will work together on the details of the transaction and close the deal in the “near future”, Everstone group said in a release.
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals was also vying for the brand. The bid window closed on Monday and the company did not extend the validity of the bid, the company said in a separate exchange filing.
