United Bank of India (UBI) and Kotak Securities have launched their co-branded share trading product.
The product, according to UBI, is specially customised for its accountholders. Named Trio and launched under the brand U-Connect, it will focus on providing online trading services. However, for UBI customers offline mode will also be available.
The product launch function was attended by P. Srinivas, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, United Bank of India, Kamlesh Rao, CEO, Kotak Securities, Shri Sanjay Arya, Shri K. Venkata Rama Moorthy, Executive Directors, United Bank of India, senior executives from both the organisation as well as sections of the press and media.
Under this arrangement, UBI customers will be offered a 3-in-1 accounts – savings and demat accounts with UBI as well as a trading account through Kotak Securities.
UBI has recently introduced online savings account opening, online FD account opening, RuPay International chip debit card and Mudra Card facilities.
