Investment management company Vanguard Group Inc on Friday picked up 1.57 lakh shares of Eicher Motors for an estimated ₹309 crore through an open market transaction. According to bulk deal data on the NSE, the shares of Eicher Motors were purchased at an average price of ₹19,676.89. However, the identity of the seller has not been revealed. Earlier in March, AB Volvo had sold 4.7 per cent stake in Eicher Motors.
