Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,133.64 crore in 30 trades.

The 8.08 per cent Government security maturing in CG2022 traded value of Rs 225.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.76 per cent, the 6.79 per cent Government security maturing in CG2027 traded value of Rs 185.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.76 per cent and the 8.15 per cent Government security maturing in CG2022A traded value of Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.75 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 2,751.60 crore and the total number of trades was 78.

The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 1,133.64 crore as on today, while the lowest was Rs 791.96 crore as on 16 Oct.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.77 per cent, 6.98 per cent, and 6.98 per cent respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 90 days 6.09 per cent, respectively.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 1,845.60 crore, representing 67.07 per cent of the total traded value.

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 906.00 crore, representing 32.93 per cent, an NSE release said.
