Mr M. Bhagavantha Rao has assumed charge as the Managing Director of State Bank of Hyderabad.
Mr Rao had succeeded Ms Renu Challu, who was transferred to State Bank of India central office, SBH said in a release on Monday.
Mr Rao, who started his career as a probationary officer in 1977 in SBI, served in various capacities in State Bank which included General Manager in central office, Mumbai and Principal of State Bank Institute for Rural Development (SBIRD), Hyderabad.
Prior to the present assignment, he was the Chief General Manager of SBI, Bhopal circle.
