The inter-bank call rates closed slightly higher at 6.9-7 per cent, against Saturday’s close of 6.85-6.9 per cent.

In the first one-day auction under the liquidity adjustment facility, the Reserve Bank of India received and accepted 17 repo bids for Rs 16,135 crore. There were no reverse repo bids.

In the second auction the RBI received and accepted 26 repo bids for Rs 35,445 crore and one reverse repo bid for Rs 245 crore. In the CBLO auction there were 565 trades amounting to Rs 60,721 crore in the rate range of 6.65-6.95 per cent.
