A Gurgaon court on Saturday sent Mr Sanjay Gupta, a co-accused in the Citibank fraud case, to 13-day judicial custody.

Mr Shivraj Puri, the main accused in the fraud, was sent to 14-day judicial custody on Friday.

Mr Gupta, who was Associate Vice-President (accounts) at Hero Corporate Services, was arrested on January 3 and remanded in police custody for five days. Subsequently, Mr Gupta's police custody was extended by seven days till January 15.

He was arrested after Mr Puri told the police that Mr Gupta had received a commission of Rs 20 crore for parking Hero Group funds in a fraudulent scheme.
