Corporation Bank has launched a year-long campaign to promote agricultural credit and financial inclusion initiatives at all its branches.
The campaign, according to a statement from the bank, has been launched this year as it has been declared the ‘International Year of Family Farming’ by the United Nations.
The focus of Corporation Bank will be to assist farming families, especially those with small and marginal holdings, the weaker sections, minority communities and self-help/joint-liability groups. Lending to agriculture and allied activities will be pursued during the camps at the bank’s branches.
