Karnataka Bank Ltd, which is an ‘ISO 27001:2005’ certified bank for information technology (IT) infrastructure, is preparing itself for upgrading its certification under the new standard ‘ISO 27001:2013.’ To strengthen the information security team in the bank in this regard, the bank began a five-day training programme for select executives and officers in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) on Monday. A press statement said here that Mahabaleshwara MS, Chief General Manager of the bank, inaugurated the training programme.
