Within four months of assuming office as Executive President of Kumbakonam-headquartered City Union Bank, Dr N. Kamakodi has been elevated as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank. He is to take charge from May 1.
He will replace Mr S. Balasubramanian, who has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman (Part-time) from the date of assuming office. Mr Balasubramanian takes the place of Mr P. Vaidyanathan, who demitted office as Non-Executive Chairman on April 26 on completion of two years.
