Mr P. Nanda Kumaran has taken over charge as Managing Director of State Bank of Travancore (SBT).
Mr Kumaran started his banking career in 1975 as a probationary officer in State Bank of India. He has since held key positions in the bank, including as Assistant General Manager at the Treasury Department, Mumbai; President and Chief Executive Officer, SBI, at Toronoto, Canada; General Manager, Networks I and II at Bhubaneswar; and Chief General Manager, Personal Banking Unit, NBG Corporate Centre, Mumbai.
He has been serving as the Chief General Manager, SBI, Ahmedabad circle, prior to his deputation to SBT.
