Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co has announced the renewal of its ISO 9001:2008 certification for its accident and health claims processing operation for the third term in a row. The company said it was first awarded the certification in 2008 and has since been renewed periodically. In 2013-14, the company settled 1.30 lakh accident and health claims (cashless) with an average turnaround time of four hours.
