Syndicate Bank has revised rates for deposits with a tenor of one year to less than two years to 9.55 per cent. According to a bank's press release, it has also introduced a new tenor of 250 days to 269 days, with deposits earning an interest rate of 9.75 per cent a year. The rate of interest on other tenors are 8 per cent for 121-180 days; 8.5 per cent 181-249 days; 9.6 per cent for 270-264 days; 9.5 per cent for two years to less than three years; 9.25 per cent for three years to five years (inclusive); and 9.25 per cent for above five years up to 10 years. The new rates would be effective August 22, the press release added.
